From November 3-6, in Abay Hall at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, we showcased our latest innovations and capabilities in the manufacturing industry. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and showcase our commitment to excellence.

As an ethical garment manufacturer, Desta PLC has actively participated in the Africa Sourcing and Fashion Week (ASFW) since 2016 as an exhibitor. Our presence allows us to not only exhibit our products and introduce new innovations but also establish connections with key players within the industry. This year at ASFW, Desta showed its recent developments which include a newly constructed facility featuring an additional factory shed, a fully equipped laboratory and clinic, as well as a primary hospital. Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce our ambitious future plans for a specialized textile plant focusing on knitting and dyeing.

Industry events like ASFW provide an excellent opportunity for professionals in the textile and apparel industry to network and establish long-term partnerships with both African and international industry players. These events offer valuable workshops and high-level conference sessions that cover a wide range of topics, ensuring attendees stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and best practices in the field. Mr. Eyob Bekele, CEO of Desta PLC, was honored to be one of the panelists discussing sustainability in the labor force for better jobs.

Furthermore, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the organizers and sponsors of ASFW 2023 for their exceptional collaboration.
