Desta is delighted and grateful to be apart of the growth in the foreign currency market for Ethiopia- we are beyond honored to gain the recognition of the contribution towards the generation of foreign currency earnings in the manufacturing sector during the 2018 Ethiopian Budget Year (2025/2026).
This recognition was granted to manufacturing industries that demonstrated outstanding performance in achieving the national manufacturing sector’s export trade targets for the 2018 fiscal year and made significant contributions to increasing the sector’s production capacity.Manufacturing industries that generated outstanding foreign exchange earnings through exports were awarded crystal trophies and certificates, while those that achieved more than 90% of their export targets received certificates of recognition.
It was stated that the recognition and awards were intended to encourage manufacturing industries that made notable contributions to the achievement of the sector’s export trade targets during the 2018 fiscal year, as well as to motivate other industries to improve their performance and thereby enhance the effectiveness of future export trade plans.In addition, certificates of appreciation were presented to development partners that have been making valuable contributions to the overall growth and development of the sector.
