Desta PLC, a family-owned garment manufacturer based in Ethiopia, participated in the Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris show at the beginning of this month. We showcased our high-quality products at the exhibition, which was visited by more than 8,000 industry professionals from across the globe. We were one of the 1,300 exhibitors present at the event.

During the exhibition, we highlighted our manufacturing facility located in Butajira and emphasized our commitment to ethical production practices. Our participation in the event was an opportunity to showcase our capabilities, network with industry professionals, and learn about emerging trends in the global fashion industry.

We are honored to be part of the Ethiopian pavilion, organized and promoted by the GIZ Sustainable Industrial Clusters (S.I.C.) Project. This collaboration highlights Desta PLC’s dedication to sustainable and ethical manufacturing processes, in line with the growing global emphasis on responsible fashion. During our participation at Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, our pavilion received distinguished visitors including H.E. State Minister for Industry, Ato Tarekegn Bululta, and H.E. Ethiopia’s Ambassador to France, W/ro Mahlet Hailu
